Omnivore- eat all types of food-plant and animal products

Vegetarian – general term used to describe people who may exclude certain animal products such as meat, poultry, fish, or dairy

Lacto-ovo vegetarian – people who include milk products and eggs but exclude animal flesh

Lacto-vegetarian – people who include milk products but exclude eggs and animal flesh

Pesce-vegetarian – people who eat fish but exclude meat and poultry flesh

Vegan – (pure vegetarian ) – people who exclude all animal products – no meat, fish, poultry, dairy

*      Vegans need to eat complete protein  legumes with grains or seeds

*      Vegans can meet all their nutritional needs if they plan their complete proteins properly

*      Deficiencies may include – calcium, vitamin D, B 12, iron
