College Office

ONSITES

All Onsite Instant Decision Days Are Now Complete

Congratulations Seniors On Your Acceptances!

ONSITES  --

Each year, Saint Francis Prep's College Office invites approximately 15 colleges from the New York area to send admission officers to participate in face-to-face interviews with our students.  Most of our students will receive college admission offers and possibly merit-based scholarships that same day.  This gives the student 6 months earlier notice (as compared to peers in other high schools) to consider attending one of these colleges.  Students are never charged for an onsite application.

Onsite schedules will be announced on our website, in Cor and on school monitors.  Each college requires a different application process.

For example:

A college will give us a date for their onsite at which time the information will be relayed to the student.  There will be a date given in which the following will be required to be handed into the College Office.  Please note that colleges will have requirements that must be met in order for the student to meet with the admissions officer.  If a student does not meet the requirements, the students application packet will be taken back to the school for review.  The student will be notified by mail if they are to be accepted.  The application is still processed and there is no fee.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT IF YOU DO NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS FOR AN ONSITE YOU STILL CAN SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR FREE AND YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED BY MAIL REGARDING YOUR DECEISION.  DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR SCORES THROUGH COLLEGE BOARD UNTIL NOTIFIED

STUDENTS WILL BE SENT A PASS IN COR THE DAY BEFORE THE ONSITE.  IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE A PASS AND HAVE MET THE REQUIREMENTS PLEASE REPORT TO THE COLLEGE OFFICE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND A PASS WILL BE ISSUED.  IF YOU HAVE A TEST PLEASE COME TO THE COLLEGE OFFICE IMMEDIATELY TO RESCHEDULE.
